Ready-to-Drink Wine to Expand in 2022
Per Wine Intelligence, low-alcohol canned wine RTDs (ready-to-drinks) are predicted to grow in popularity in 2022. These drinks have been getting some traction in the past few years, and two more types of wine RTDs have been created recently that are making them more popular — portable single-serve formats and low alcohol. Wine RTDs have been successful with younger drinkers and are a good way of getting them into the wine sector of the alcohol industry. This trend is global, but it’s the biggest in America. The canned wine industry is predicted to grow from $211M in 2020 to $571M in 2028. This is a trend that should not be overlooked.
Do you know of alcohol retailers or bars? Can you help them take advantage of this upcoming trend?
Green Options Score High on Hispanic Shoppers’ Grocery Lists
In recent years, the topic of “sustainable food” has grown in popularity amongst grocery shoppers. And certain ethnic groups, in particular, may prove especially attracted to sustainable food options.
As per a recent CCRRC report, Hispanic shoppers listed recycling, low food waste, and bag reusability as high priorities when shopping for food.
Do you know any local grocers or food retailers that specialize in sustainable shopping options? Can you help them amplify business even more by targeting Hispanic shoppers?
How to Avoid Getting Ghosted
Many job candidates are likely to stop answering emails, calls, and texts when they are searching for a job when an employer reaches out to them. This usually happens because the process may have taken to long, they applied on sites such as ZipRecruiter or LinkedIn so they may not be as committed, and they did research on the company and did not like what they found.
There are many ways that employers can try to avoid getting ghosted. Employers can follow up immediately with people that apply, make the hiring process simpler, and overall, just make the workplace a good place to work.
Do you know any local employers who are hiring? Can you help spread awareness to employers on how to prevent getting ghosted?
