During the pandemic, research has shown that isolation has been especially tough on children and has increased depression and anxiety. One way that some families have combated this is to pick up a new family dog. The American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychology has shown that pet ownership can help develop responsible behaviors, respect for living creatures, and provides comfort, loyalty, and affection. Children can also develop social-emotional behaviors with a pet that can translate into connecting with humans down the road. In addition to children, the right dogs can also decrease stress for the whole family. They can also increase physical exercise by having to walk and play with a dog.

The Changing Motorcycle Industry
Harley-Davidson has had to adapt to the changing bike industry. The average age of a bike owner has become older, and sales haven’t been the same since 2006. The brand has had to turn away from their iconic “Hog” image to meet the new demands of bike consumers. For example, the company is focusing on producing bikes that are both on- and off-road and electric bikes. These changes can hopefully introduce a younger demographic, which has been known to lack interest in motorcycles.

U.S. Consumers are Ready to Hit the Road
According to travelagentcentral.com, 60% of surveyed consumers said they’re planning to travel more in 2021 than in 2019. 69% of surveyed U.S. consumers are not feeling safe flying right now, and 56% of respondents said they don’t feel safe in hotels. However, 99% of respondents say RV travel seems safe to them, and 53% of surveyed consumers said they’re planning to exclusively travel by RV this year. 61% of consumers planning road trips said they’re looking to travel 500 miles or more, and 34% said they’ll travel 100-500 miles.
