Fresh & Frozen Food is Taking a Bite out of the Pet Food Market
Fresh pet food is taking up space on the shelf. Large pet retailers are taking notice and partnering with brands to create their own fresh food lines. Despite high prices, owners aren’t likely to cut back on their spending for furry ones, which makes the industry almost recession-proof.
How are retailers marketing this growing segment of pet food near you?
Smart Technology Sales Riding High
Since the pandemic’s onset, many individuals have upped their smart-home usage, turning to streaming content at markedly higher rates. According to recent Plume IQ data, the number of connected devices in one’s home is up a full 10% as of June 2022 (measured YOY).
Do you know any local retailers or manufacturers of smart TVs or other “smart” technology? Can you help them capitalize on favorable market trends and reach more shoppers?
Cannabis Drinks Could be the Next Trend
There is a new type of adult beverage that could become the next big thing. Cannabis-infused beverages are showing up in more places as more states legalize recreational marijuana. These cannabis drinks contain THC, which allows drinkers to get high. These drinks are not to be confused with CBD-infused drinks that do not contain THC. Major players in the alcohol sector, such as Pabst Blue Ribbon, Anheuser-Busch, and Constellation, are coming out with drinks that have THC in them. Cannabis drinks can be a good opportunity to be sold as an alcohol alternative.
Do you reach consumers who like to partake? Can you connect them with manufacturers crafting these new adult beverages?
