Indoor Dining May Be On the Way Out

Fast food dining rooms may be on their way out the door. Many quick-service restaurants are constructing new restaurants that do not contain indoor dining. Big players in the industry like Taco Bell, Wingstop, Chipotle, Jimmy John’s, and Tim Hortons are constructing or planning to construct drive-thru and pick-up-only restaurants. Just as drive-thru-only restaurants were gaining popularity, the pandemic made the drive-thru-only boom happen quicker. Consumers are favoring convenience over a quick and casual dining experience.

Do you reach drive-thru users? Can you connect them with new drive-thru-only restaurant locations?

Legalization of Sports Betting

Sports betting in Ohio will be legal on January 1, 2023. This law allows for at least 25 sportsbook apps to launch in Ohio. 10 will go to sports teams and 11 will go to casino locations in Ohio. Online sportsbooks launched in other states will come to Ohio as well. When sports betting launches, Ohioans will be able to bet on all professional-level domestic, and international team sports, and individual sports. College sports betting will be legal too, however, there may be restrictions forthcoming. You will also not need to be a resident of the state in order to bet as long you are at least 21 years old and within state lines.

Do you know any local casinos? Can you help get the word out about sports betting?

Retailers are Forced to Make Mark-Downs

Major retailers have been forced to mark-down specific products due to a surplus of inventory. This is due to overordering and a change in consumers’ needs from the pandemic era. Products such as TVs, furniture, and leisure wear have seen markdowns the most.

Can you connect consumers looking for low prices to retailers looking to get rid of their inventory?
