Quick-Service Restaurants Should Target Gamers
Quick-service restaurants are missing out on a huge target market by not reaching mobile gamers!
Mobile gaming reaches 8 in 10 mobile users, and a significant number of mobile gamers consume fast-food weekly, order online, and interact with brands.
- 57% eat fast-food at least once per week.
- 65% say they order takeout from quick-service restaurants more through websites and apps, compared to a year ago.
- Weekly fast-food consumers engage with brands online more frequently (following brands on social media or clicking on ads).
How are you helping quick-service restaurants reach mobile gamers?

Podcast Advertising Could Be a Gateway to Holiday Sales Boost
In the midst of the pandemic, many advertisers effectively marketed their brands during the holiday season via online and social media-specific strategies. Yet, various factors may have companies rethinking their advertising plans ahead of the upcoming holiday push.
For one, Facebook’s CPM rates are expected to have increased by roughly 50% for the holiday season (per a recent CNBC report). As a result, many brands are putting more energy into podcast-oriented spending.
Do you know any local businesses seeking to retool their advertising approach for the holidays? Can you help them amplify business by advertising via podcasts?
The Holiday Season is Approaching and Consumers are Ready to Decorate
According to a recent YouGov survey, the most popular time for Americans to decorate their homes for Christmas, Hanukkah, or Kwanzaa is the day after Thanksgiving! The next most popular time consumers choose to dress their homes up for the holiday season is after Thanksgiving but before December.
“Four in 10 Americans (43%) will decorate their yards or the exterior of their homes for the holidays while seven in 10 (72%) will decorate their home’s interior. One percent of the survey’s respondents aren’t sure how they’ll decorate their homes yet,” according to YouGov.

Gender Gap Perceptions Can Sway Prospective Customers
The concept of the gender pay gap has earned increasing social awareness in the past several years. Prospective consumers’ perceptions of a company’s gap (or lack thereof) can affect where and with whom they do business.
According to a recent Harvard Business Review report, experimental subjects who learned of a vignette wherein a company had a sizeable gender gap were far more inclined to opt for a competitor’s product or service.
Do you know any local businesses that have a low gender pay gap that they are willing to publicly disclose? Can you help them reach receptive potential customers in the process?
