Futuri Media’s Podcasting and On-Demand System for Broadcasters, POST, Announces New Features and Enhancements

The leading system for instantly converting live broadcast audio into on-demand content continues to grow.

Cleveland, Ohio, February 8, 2017 – Futuri Media, a global leader and innovator in media technology, today announced major enhancements to POST, the system designed to make creating and publishing podcasts and on-demand audio simple for radio broadcasters.

  • POST Touchscreen is a touchscreen that resides in the studio. It’s an “easy button” that on air talent hit to instantly turn their last talked break into an on demand segment/podcast. In seconds, stations can take a morning show segment and turn it into a podcast on iTunes, Facebook, Twitter, the station website, and a number of other platforms, including iHeartRadio.

  • The all-new POST Editor gives on-air talent and producers even greater control of the editing process. POST Editor is web based. Producers and talent mark audio in and out, crop, zoom in and out, fade, and more with a new toolbar and keyboard shortcuts.

  • POST Planner is a feature designed for PDs to set up feature- and show-specific templates for recurring content. Now, clients can create default options for items like title, description, images, and even bumpers; talent needs only to edit the audio and click to post.

POST has been developed by Futuri’s industry-leading software and broadcast engineering team, which has patented technology in 151 nations. “Radio broadcasters spend millions of dollars creating billions of hours of audio that’s only used once,” said Futuri Media CEO Daniel Anstandig. “We designed POST so air talent could instantly convert their shows into on-demand audio. POST is a system for broadcasters to easily capitalize on the audience and revenue opportunities of the fast-growing on-demand audio market.”
